• Wilbanks - Wilbanks February Uganda trip; Alicia's foot to heal quickly;  Ashley's broken wrist;  Friend, Brandie, with cancer; Alicia's grandmother and parents dealing with the move (her grandmother's moving in w/ her parents)

• DuBois - Holly has been having contractions (she'll be 37 weeks Saturday...?) Please pray that they get under control and for her and her baby's health.

• Wilbanks - Wilbanks February Uganda trip; Alicia's foot to heal quickly;  Ashley broke her wrist - doctor visit on Monday; Friend, Brandie, with cancer; Alicia's grandmother and parents dealing with the move (her grandmother's moving in w/ her parents)

• Burns- Luke and Elijah to get (ear infection - Luke) and stay healthy; safe travels for Stephen Sunday night from New Orleans; Friend's husband, Joel, was involved in an accident and ejected from his car on the 7th. (Praise that his daughter was unharmed!) He's not in the best condition, but has made improvements. Also, another friend, Sara King, is currently at UAB for, possibly among other things, advanced liver disease. Please pray for her healing and her family.

• Burns- Luke and Elijah to get and stay healthy; safe travels for Stephen this week; Friend's husband, Joel, was involved in an accident and ejected from his car on the 7th. (Praise that his daughter was unharmed!) He has several broken body bones, including a fractured skull. He woke up yesterday and didn't know his wife, so please pray for this situation and his family. Also, another friend, Sara King, is currently at UAB for, possibly among other things, advanced liver disease. Please pray for her healing and her family.

This is a forwarded email from Tracy and Todd regarding Anna Kate's procedure today:

 

Here is the update that we all knew was coming. Anna Kate's going to have a shunt put in her brain in the morning at Children's. Her ventricles are still enlarging due to a blocked aqueduct (? Spelling) in her ventricles. This will solve our problem. Yay!! She will stay in the hospital at least overnight. We are asking that you please say a special prayer for Anna Kate tonight and tomorrow morning at 9 am. Please pray for her, the doctor, anesthesia personnel, nurses, the surgery itself, her vital signs and neurologic status after surgery, no infection, and a quick recovery!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are blessed and know this is all in God's perfect plan.

 

This is a forwarded email from Jennifer Bradley regarding the group of men and women currently in Africa:

I spoke with Brad briefly today, and he asked that we specifically pray for the team beginning at 10pm (our time) tonite (Tuesday).  Currently they're loading up to head back to the Camp from the Safari Place.  Brad said it's 2 1/2 hrs on paved roads, then 3 1/2 hrs on dirt roads.  wow.  And his exact words were, "pray for us and the trip back because the trip is treacherous."  So, for Brad to ask for that is HUGE b/c he rarely ask for prayer.

I'll let everyone know how it goes for them, if I have the golden opportunity to speak with him on Wednesday afternoon.  Our God of mercy will hear the partitions of the righteous for Wes/Brad/team.  Let's bathe them in specific prayer.

"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace."  Hebrews 4:16
