Prayer Requests for the Week of 2/20/11

Additions for the week are in red. 
  • Doctor Appointments:  
    • The Waldrips little girl, Anna Kate, will be having brain surgery on March 22. This surgery will decompress another area of her brain and will be very intensive with a long recovery time, but they're hopeful that it will correct some problems they've dealt with. 
  • General Needs:   
    • Powells - business decisions
    • Matt Watson's' job
    • Jennifer Bradley's mom, Cheryl - in dire need of a job
  • Healing/Sickness:  
    • Allred's friends' mom diagnosed with ovarian cancer and she just recently started chemo
    • Bennett's sister's father in law has lung cancer
    • Brad Bradley's foot to heal correctly
    • Lisa's grandmother as she recovers from shoulder surgery and Lisa's mom's health.
    • Mark Clark's father has an enlarged prostate
    • Tamara Cosgrove's father, Wes Westbrook, has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease
    • Adryne Williams Davis – 3rd grade teacher at South Shades Crest battling lymphoma 
    • The Davis' as they adjust to having their new baby, Maci, at home.
    • Davis' 30yr old friend diagnosed with lymphoma
    • Halcomb's friend, Jack McEmory - stage 4 cancer.
    • The Halcomb's as the adjust to a family of 4!
    • Mazingo family to stay healthy
    • Friend of the Phelps, Carson Sumpter (16) has stage 4 bone cancer
    • The Phelps daughter, Avery, to sleep better at night
    • Matt's back - compressed, degenerative disk - started physical therapy
    • Jennifer Watson's mom as she recovers from surgery
    • Alicia Wilbanks' friend, Brandie (battling cancer)
    • Alicia's Dad's back 
  • Homes to Sell: Burns; Pennington's before April; Watson 
  • Mission Trips:  
    • Sonya Whitaker left on a mission trip to Chile last Thursday. Pray for her and also for Mitchell and their kids while she's away
    • Wes Wilbanks' Uganda trip leaving this Thursday, Feb 24th
  • Overseas:  Leslie Harper's cousin, Caleb Giles, and Sha Jackson's brother in law, both in Afghanistan
