Prayer Requests for the Week of 3/27

Additions/Updates for the week are in red. 

• Appointments:  
• Monday - The Burns' son, Luke, is having an ultrasound b/c of a little bulge on his tummy. 
• Monday - Stephen's brother's wife, Kristin, is being induced tomorrow. 
• Wednesday - the Dozier's daughter, Olivia, will be having surgery to fully remove her cyst. Please pray for her nerves to be protected during this surgery.
• Wednesday - Jimmie Moore has a custody hearing.  He could possibly loose custody of his 3 year old daughter to his mom simply because he's a male and our state laws typically give moms custody. He's been fighting this for 9 months. Please pray for strength, guidance, and for this to be God's will. 
• Waldrips Update - Anna Kate's recovering great from her brain surgery. The doctor's had to put a trach in on Friday, which went well, but pray that this is only temporary and that her vocal cords rest and heal during this time. She will be in the ICU for another week.
• General Needs:   
• Jennifer Bradley's mom, Cheryl still struggling with job search
• Burns - Insurance situation after Stephen's wreck - for God's grace to be with the insurance adjuster's and for it to work out that his car was/is insured - new update - our insurance agent and Tammy (his sec who we've spoken w/ a lot & who we feel is really pulling for us) met with a supervisor and specialist for a long meeting to prepare to bring our case to a committee. Praise that we are even being reviewed by the committee. 
• McKenzies - unspoken
• Powell's - a lot of family stuff going on with both of their families and a lot is happening with work. Please pray for guidance.
• Matt Watson's job
• Healing/Sickness:  
• Allred's friends' mom diagnosed with ovarian cancer and is going through chemo
• Bennett's sister's father in law has lung cancer
• Lisa Burns' grandmother recently had shoulder surgery, will be having eye surgery in 2 weeks, and is struggling with pain in her foot (in a walking cast). Pray for her healing and for her to stay hopeful about her health.  
• Jason Cosgrove's granmother, Jane, 90 yrs old, fell Saturday morning and broke her hip in multiple places. Surgery went well, but please pray for a good recovery. 
• Mark Clark's father, F.L. - praise that his prostate has been shrinking and he's feeling better.
• Amy Crews (Tommye Lambert's daughter) who has CF is in the hospital and has not been doing very well. You may remember Amy from one of the videos during the "Hope" series Buddy preached last year. Here is the link to her caring bridge site, http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/amycrews.
• Davis' family member has had a very difficult time getting pregnant and staying pregnant. She is pregnant now but it's very early on in the pregnancy. 
• Adryne Williams Davis - 3rd grade teacher at South Shades Crest battling lymphoma
• Davis' 30yr old friend diagnosed with lymphoma
• Travis Diggs' mom's health; uganda trip
• The Dig's friends - Josh and Elizabeth Council's baby
• Gullahorn - close friend going through a divorce
• Halcomb's friend, Jack McEmory - stage 4 cancer.
• Halcomb's daughter, Juliann, was diagnosed with severe acid reflux. Prayer for meds to start working and relief for her.
• McKenzies - family of 4 year old who passed away after a fall. 
• Emily Pennington's grandmother broke her hip last week; pray for a quick recovery and good mental state to get through this.
• Friend of the Phelps, Carson Sumpter (16) has stage 4 bone cancer
• Cami Stewart's cousin, Brian, is struggling with a liver disease and other recent complications.
• Matt Watson's cousin's son (2 years old) just had his 3rd open heart surgery. They put a pacemaker in.
• Alicia Wilbanks' friend, Brandie (battling cancer),  is still hanging on. They're not sure how long she has left but it doesn't look like she has very long.  Please please pray for her, her husband Richard, their daughter Emma, and all of her friends.
• Homes to Sell: Burns - guidance for buying our next house ; Pennington's home to sell soon - time is running out!; Watson's
• Overseas:  Leslie Harper's cousin, Caleb Giles, and Sha Jackson's brother in law, both in Afghanistan; Cosgrove's brother, Heath, left Afghanistan and is now home for another month before he relocates to Beirut, Lebanon.
